Oh my goodness! We reached 60 degrees today and it pretty much felt like summer to me...I cannot wait until we consistently have nice weather!
Jacob has been having so much fun playing outside and riding his bike. He had a little accident on Monday which pretty much freaked Jason and I out. He fell over while on his bike and smacked his cheek on the handlebars, leaving a nice slice in his face. This was our first experience with a more serious cut, so of course we quickly took him to the doctor. I thought for sure he would need a couple of stitches since the cut on his face was opened up. Turns out it wasn't as bad as it looked and we officially felt stupid for taking him to the doctor(and wasting one of the 3 insurance appointments that we have on something dumb!). His eye tooth went into the inside of his mouth and the handlebar was what slashed his cheek. After some ice, he was pretty much fine. Oh well...live and learn I suppose!
Cameron is doing great as well and enjoys being outside too! He had his first try on the baby swing at the park(right before Jacob crashed lol) and he loved it! He was so happy and full of giggles the whole time. He is currently experiencing his first case of the sniffles, but seems to be doing OK so far. He sounds like a little piglet while he is sleeping...his nose is all stuffed up and he tries to suck on his binky which cause lots of little snorts.
Concession season is officially under way...Hopefully I will keep up on my writing even though its gonna be busy for the next few months!

Random thoughts...
Ugh...I am totally feeling like I am lacking in patience these days and I am not liking it! I keep getting frustrated with Jacob for different reasons and they are things that I really shouldn't be mad at him for. He is only 4 1/2 and I think that I sometimes expect too much out of him! I am going to try and set up a better routine for us during the day where I spend more time doing things with him(and Cameron too!) during the day rather than me constantly telling him to go play while I try to get my stuff accomplished...that just means I need to spend my time a little wiser in the evenings after the kids are in bed!
I am completely stressed out about our health insurance situation. After Jason's union health insurance expired in February I purchased a health insurance policy that will help us out in the event of something catastrophic, but basically sucks for the sick child appointments. Each of us is allowed 3 office visits per year with a $50 co-pay...anything after that we will be completely out of pocket until the deductible is met, which is $10,000! It also has a huge list of things that it doesn't cover at all...the main one being any injury/accidents caused from any ATV/Dirt bike crash. I just know Jason is gonna break something when he goes out of town riding cause he is an idiot on that stupid quad and then we will be paying for it forever. We will still be paying $275 per month for that crappy coverage. I really don't get how these health insurance companies can expect people to afford the monthly payments to have an insurance policy that actually covers anything! The cost of a policy similar to what we had before would cost our family $900 per month! I applied for the Apple Health program for the boys...if we get approved for that then they will at least have all of their stuff covered for like $60 bucks a month...
On a happier note: current stuff with the boys! I found out about a Baby/Child photo contest that a photographer in Monroe was putting on. She was offering free 15 minute photo shoots and then would pick one of the pictures to enter in the contest. The winner of the contest gets a free full photo shoot as well as a bunch of other items. The boys had their photo shoot on Tuesday, and boy did she get some cute ones! Maybe we will win!
I still can't get over how happy of a baby that Cameron is. I thought Jacob was a happy baby when he was little, but Cameron is even more so! He is always smiling and giggling at all that Jacob is doing and is always very happy to see us when he awakes in the mornings. He is also turning out to be much more active than Jacob was! The kids never stops moving when he is awake! So much different from when I was pregnant...He was always so mellow inside me and I was always really having to concentrate to get my daily kick counts.
Jacob really enjoyed all of the St. Patricks Day festivities that took place this week. On Wednesday, his Pre-K class had a little party to celebrate and he was so excited to tell of all that happened! They found gold coins that the leprechauns left, made their own traps to try and catch the leprechauns and got a feast full of green items for snack including: green eggs and ham, green jello, green rice crispy treats, broccoli, and green milk. He was a little surprised to find that his poo was even green the next day after all that food dye!
Both of my cameras are acting up so I don't have any new pictures to show today, but will try to add some soon!

4 Months
As of February 27th, Cameron is 4 months old! He had his well baby visit yesterday with the pediatrician and is doing great. He weighed 16lbs 9.5 oz and was 25 7/8 inches long. I looked up Jacob's stats at his 4 month check up to compare: He weighed 16lbs8oz and was 27 3/8 inches long. Cameron is definitely more 'roly poly' than Jacob was!
Park Photoshoot
Cousins!
Nathan, Nicole and Jacob all had a blast playing together at the park(this was just one of the many parks we visited over the weekend!). They had fun posing so I could grab some pictures:
Nathan on the jungle gym
Jumping off the swings
Caught in mid-air!
Cheese!
This was after Jacob face planted into the wood chips
Cameron had fun too!
