Out of the mouths of kids...

Some of the things that come out of kids mouths are quite funny.  I know that Jacob keeps us laughing with the the things that he comes up with:

"Cameron, do you want some booties?!? Cameron, you really want booties, huh?!?!(This was him asking Cameron if he wanted boobies)

While playing trucks with Jason in his room: "Come one Daddy! Let's take the dirt bikes and quads to the sand dupes(also know as sand dunes lol)

He also would really like to learn how to ride a unicle-cycle(unicycle)

While driving, he asked Jason if we were in Monroe yet.  Jason replied yes, since we technically were in Monroe, just not in town yet.  Jacob then asked if we were on a freeway.  We said that yes, we were on a highway.  He then replied: "Then we aren't IN Monroe yet, are we Dad?"

One of my favorites was when he was about 18 months old.  Whenever we would put him in his crib at bedtime, he would stand up and say what sounded like "psycho mommy" or "psycho daddy".  We could not figure out why he was calling us psycho or where he even learned the word!  A couple of weeks later he was pronouncing things a little better and we realized that he was asking to "snuggle" with mommy or daddy!  We kinda felt bad after the fact that we couldn't understand him and all he wanted to do was get some snuggles from his parents!

He is definitely full of personality!!

Cameron

I can't believe how quickly time goes by!! Cameron is already 11 weeks old and he is getting so big!  Two weeks ago he had his 2  month well visit and weighed in at 13lbs 12oz and was 23 1/2 inches long.  He is definitely a "big" boy!

He is always so happy and smiley, though I have failed at getting a good picture of him smiling.  One of these days I will capture it.

At this time, his top 3 faves are as follows:

1)BOOBS!!!(This one really could take up all 3 of the top 3, but I am just going to use it as one)
2)Getting his diaper changed...he always gets really smiley at this time
3) Big Brother Jacob...whenever Jacob is in his face, he is smiley(except for when Jacob makes his creepy clown face and yells "hellllllooooooo littttttle llllaaaadddddyyyy", then he will burst into tears!)

His dislikes:

1) Bottles
2) Binkys
3) Snowflakes in the eyes(Oops!! Mom of the Year award please!)

Anyways, as I have already packed away/sold all the newborn clothes and am about to do the same with the 3 month clothes, I am reminded of how quickly the time really does go by and how we must enjoy and cherish each day, because they will never be this age again!!

Happy 2011!

So I am a few days behind, but Happy New Year!  We rang in the new year with my parents in Leavenworth.  Jacob had been looking forward to this little trip to play in the snow since we left last year!  We all had a lot of fun playing games and eating lots of snacks.  Jacob didn't get nearly as much time playing in the snow as he was hoping for due to the extreme cold temperatures(High of 14; Low of 0) but he still had a blast. Here are a few pictures from our trip:

Happy New Year!
